Built by Trail Runners, for Trail Runners

TrailSight was born from a simple frustration: spending hours searching for reliable race data scattered across dozens of websites. We built the tool we wished existed.

Our Story

TrailSight started in 2024 as a personal project by a trail running enthusiast who was tired of the tedious process of preparing for races. Finding the GPX track, locating aid stations, understanding elevation profiles, figuring out time barriers — all of this information was scattered across event websites, social media posts and runner forums, often outdated or incomplete.

The idea was simple: create a single platform where runners can find everything they need to prepare for any trail race. Not just the basic distance and elevation stats, but the detailed, actionable information that actually helps you on race day — where exactly are the aid stations, what do they serve, where are the steep climbs, and what does the terrain actually look like in 3D.

What started as a side project quickly grew as more runners discovered it. Today, TrailSight covers hundreds of trail running events across multiple countries, with detailed race data that is verified and updated regularly. We continue to add new events and features based on what the trail running community tells us they need.

Our Mission

To give every trail runner — from first-timers to ultra veterans — the tools and information they need to prepare confidently and race safely. We believe that better preparation leads to better experiences on the trail, fewer DNFs, and more runners reaching the finish line with a smile.

What Drives Us

Runner Safety

Knowing the course, the aid stations and the time barriers is not just about performance — it is about safety. We provide the detailed data that helps runners make informed decisions during their race and avoid dangerous situations.

Accurate Data

Every GPX track, every aid station location, every elevation profile is verified against official race information. We do not guess or approximate — we provide data you can trust when you are out on the trail.

Community First

TrailSight grows thanks to the trail running community. Runners report missing events, flag incorrect data and suggest new features. This collaborative approach ensures the platform stays relevant and accurate.

Keep It Simple

Trail running is complex enough. Our tools are designed to be straightforward — find your race, study the course, export the GPX to your watch, and go run. No unnecessary complexity, no learning curve.
